Hurm

So it looks like the plan for today (Friday the 10th) is that I'm going to make dinner for Jared Katie Kayla and myself. I'm planning on making spaghetti carbonara w/ THE BREAD (Link in title).

I remember Kayla had stumbled upon this recipe awhile ago and linked it to me. And I myself found it, and I've been wanting to try it, so now's as good a time as any.

Hopefully I can actually make dinner, and stuff. We're going to be cooking it in Jared's kitchen it looks like.

Which is fine. I mean, I would like to cook here in my house. But my dad would be home. And Kayla is scared of him. And it would be awkward for her to be at my house. Surrounded by my family. Katie has a really nice kitchen. But she's not 21, so she couldn't drink the wine with us. Plus, we've only been to her house once, so we can't exactly invite ourselves over and mess up her kitchen. And we can't cook at Kayla's. Because she lives in bumfuck no where.

And it would be 1000x times more awkward there then at my house. Cause her boyfran.

We'll see if I'm able to cook this all up. If not...Pizza Hut?

And then Saturday we're supposed to Dnd. But Jman and I are thinking about proposing we scrap this current game and characters, and re-roll new ones, using a point system similar to the Fallout 3/New Vegas styles of character creations. That way we won't have people w/ Over Powered (OP) characters (LOOKING AT YOU AJ).

Cause AJ's character (a half orc) has a shit ton of HP and stuff...which in this contexts makes sense, because he's a tank. But he's orc also has a high wisdom and charisma? Yeah, an all around powerful character just seems so boring. You need weaknesses to vary the game up. Jared and I think that AJ just cherry picked the best rolls from a series of rolls he did. Which is blatant cheating.

And Meg needs to actually play her character as a druid (because that's what she is) and not a melee (which is what she isn't). She doesn't prep her spells. And her class has some awesome spells.

/end nerd rage.

PBR and Buddha's Belly

Went to Kzoo yesterday.

Had a hell of a time finding Jared's residency hall. Found him and Gavin at Campus Pointe instead.

Went to Gavin's apartment (that he shares with his girlfriend Amber) and hung out there, and talked about DnD. It was really fun. Then we went to this place called Buddha's Belly for some cheap and plentiful "asian" food. Afterwards we stopped @ The Den Party Store and purchased a 30 pack PBR for $20...2/3rds of it is now in my mini fridge.

When we got back we played Apples to Apples and then some Settlers of Catan. Then fell asleep.

Hung out the next day.

Then I drove home. The End
