housework revolution

The title of this blog has nothing to with the subject matter.

I was going to title this "hahaha" but as soon as I typed "h" Blogger/Google tried to auto fill w/ "housework revolution" and I liked that. so I let it happen.

New Semester. Last chance.

Excited about my classes, even if I had to use all of the family's grocery money to buy my books. Man I feel like a bad child.

I need a job. But I don't want another min. wage bullshit job. But yet, I do. Fuck?

I'm not sleeping much. 2-4 hours a night. Last 2 weeks or so. I just...don't. I get tired, so I go to bed. But as soon as my head hits my rolled up blanket (my pillow vanished from my room back in November) I'm just awake. So I go watch tv, play Skyrim, until I get tired, then repeat. It's shitty.

This past weekend was pretty cool. We didn't get to play DnD. Jared needed to catch a ride with AJ and Meg from Kzoo. But Meg was taking forever, so they didn't leave until 4, and the roads were bad, so they didn't get to town until 5:30. AJ dropped Jared at home, saying that he (AJ) was going to take a nap (read: pork his woman) until Nick texted us when he got off work. At 9. Nick texted us at 9. Saying he was home sick all day with a sinus infection. So Jared and I were pissed. We ate the meat pie I made (from scratch, only took 8 hours, no big deal...) in retaliation. Then that Saturday night, he was able to get Kayla to hang out with us, and drink with us.

That was really cool. I liked it. Jared and Kayla drank some premixed Sangria, and I tried this dark ale called Dragon's Milk. Then we were joined by Katie and her friend, who I believe is named Lauren. Or Laura. But I think it's Lauren. And they joined us with some PBR.

I also had this Black and Tan named Mississippi Mud. It's in a cool looking jug. and cheap. and not bad at all.

But an excellent night. I enjoyed hanging out with new people. And talking...as little as I did.

Most of these songs are pretty shit, but some are good. As of right now (as in typing this sentence) I'm half way through with it.

I'm going to teach Jared some recipes sometime, so we can further impress the womenfolk.

And I'm thinking about going to this Zombie event Gavin told me about @ WMU. Takes place over spring break, sounds really fun. I haven't been to a zomb event in years. I miss them kind of.

I miss a lot of things. But not sleep.
